She was the most amazing person in the world. (besides my mother, of course!)
She would always have a candy dish filled with ribbon candy.
You know the kind, when exposed to the air it would stick together.... but is was always so good! I have been obsessing about this candy lately.
It's such a pretty candy and oh so sweetly good. It brings back many memories for me.
and this Christmas I have a few new memories! I am completely gaga over these chocolate truffles:

ReplyDeleteI was just thinking the other day the same thing. My grandma lives far away from me and i have been compiling all her secret recipes. It makes me sad to know she won't be here one day, but at least i will have something of her to treasure and remember her by.
