The New Traditionalist; a furniture company that developed ducduc, a children's line of furniture has designed two new lines of furniture for us grown ups!  Mason Gray and Union House.
Each piece is made to order with sustainable harvested hardwood and non-toxic paint.  Taking traditional pieces and adding colour or design elements to add a modern or eclectic feel making these pieces an obsession of mine.  The quality is in the forefront, "buy well once".  They don't believe is making disposable furniture, the quality of each piece will last through a life time to pass on to the next generations.
I love the layers of colour or the unexpected pop of colour.   My favorite piece in the dark navy blue credenza, with simple nickel pulls and plaid leather fronts. *sigh* such simple elegance.

  1. i know what you mean about looking at and admiring stark spaces. me too, i have too much stuff, a now, 17 year old, no pets, not yet :) just stuff. i will say though, i hate clutter, so none of that but warm things like paintings my son has done throughout the years, tons of photos in old frames and currently an ampliphier and micropone sitting in my kitchen because my dad just gave my son a guitar and all the fixin's so now what to do with this "stuff". :0)

hey, that furniture you featured today is really fun. that drawer that pulls out showing that red or orange tray, love that! and that bottom bureau-esque table in hot lips pink that is really the best! have a great day...

  2. Love so many of these pieces. I'm oddly drawn to the last one though I'm not typically into colored furniture. I stick to lots of neutrals but the pink and walnut combo is terrific!!! Marija
