BOOK REVIEW: Summer at Tiffany

Marjorie Hart

I am so excited to present my first book review, TLC Book Tours.

Summer at Tiffany is a memoir of Marjorie Hart.  This witty book tells of fun, adventure and falling in love during the summer of 1945 in New York City.  Marjorie and her best friend Marty Garrett take a chance for the summer.  They hop on a train and arrive in New York in hopes to find employment as shop girls but soon find that getting a job in New York is something many other girls are doing as well.  They take a chance and walk into Tiffany and ask for a job!  They soon find themselves as the first female pages on the sales floor at Tiffany & Co.  This book is full of history, magical memories and witty moments that make you giggle.

This is the perfect summer read!
