They remind me of summer, BBQ's and my dad. He would snack on them like candy. The spicy little things with the crunch of goodness.
I think that is why I eat them. My dad!
My parents live far away and I only see them a few times a year, so I eat the comfort food of my childhood. Since, I will not be seeing my dad this weekend I will be snacking on this little treat to remind me of him. I hope he has a wonderful fathers day.
I will be seeing my parents next month, they have asked me to go on vacation with them and I am very excited about it. I will be posting many photos and the crazy fun adventures we have on our little holiday away.
What favorite memory do you have of that special man in your life?
I will be guest posting on Vana's blog about my bathroom remodel, writing a book review to post next week on a fabulous book I read this month, going to the Highland Games and watching men in kilts throw stones, and playing rugby in the mud while drinking pints of goodness. There could never be too much good!

it's funny how foods can make you think of a specific person. i too love radishes, i like them with a little salt. :) rhubarb is my memory trigger. there was a lady growing up who lived on this beautiful property, pond, huge yard, anyway, she babysat my sister and i along with her 4 kids, we all hung out. well, her father, so not really my grandfather but at the time sort of, he grew rhubarb down the street in his garden. i would walk around after picking a stalk and chew on it all day long. it makes me think of this sweet man who allowed us all to romp through is garden. sweet :) happy weekend!

This weekend me and my little family is just going to relax... I really really really am in need of the upcomming summer vacation...
My favorite memory of my Dad is when he taught me to ride (drive) a Harley when I was 15, on a friend's bike. That year for Christmas he bought that same Harley for me, and I still have it to this day!
