HOT or ON ICE
This box is resembles shagreen (sharkskin) but is rolled-paper. Such a pretty box with filigree details. I drink tea quite often and would love to have my tea stored in tea caddy. I need to add to my list of must finds for the house.
I do have to say during the summer months, iced tea is much preferred. Especially, when the heat is up there to a sweltering 97 degrees and high humidity. I need ice tea!!
I don't like my tea sweet, but in the summer sometimes a bit of sweetener is a must! Southern Sweet tea, champagne of the south served in a mason jar!
Boil 2 cups water and place 3 family sized tea bags and let steep. Pour tea into a pitcher add 1 cup sugar stirring to dissolve. Fill remaining pitcher with cold water. Serve over ice!
I sometimes add fresh mint muddled or fresh lemon slices. (I know, not so southern but hey I am from California where the Arnold Palmer was concocted!!)
enjoy!!
