Love this Cantilever Cane chair, designed by Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe in 1927. The entry space using Mies Van der Rohe's philosophy "less is more" is a tribute to the simplicity and of that statement. And using a piece you love {that cantilever chair} makes it special!!

I love investing in things that I love... Every time I look at them around the house {or on} they make me smile :)

I love it!!
ReplyDeleteI love that quote (and the photo!). For the last year, I've been getting rid of things I accuired during a previous marriage that had negative energy associated with them. I put so much consideration into the things I've replaced them with. I can truly say, I love everything in my house. It's really a great feeling.
ReplyDeleteOh that is a great quote! And I love the picture. I bought a cowhide rug recently but I tell you it does not look as great on carpet as it does on wood floor. Now I'm wanting to replace the carpet (not gonna happen) ha!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time with your Mum!!!!! Nothing better than that!
