HAPPY TUESDAY! Let's go riding..... on a bike

I am so excited, tonight when I  get home from work I am going to ride my new bike. Well, not new but vintage new bike!!
I received a cash award from work for working on the website for the companies green initiatives, so I thought I should just some of the money for a bike. Here is my new purple Hollywood Schwinn bike!! (it looks magenta pink to me, but everywhere I looked they called it purple!) I also purchased a wicker basket for "my stuff" from the farmers market and importantly a cup holder for my coffee!!

I will be restoring it over the winter to get her pretty for spring riding!!

  3. Bike riding is my favorite! Just wish winter wasn't around the corner, it's going to have to get put away for awhile :-(

  4. Crazy! I had that same bike in college--it was my mom's and in pristine condition. I had two wire baskets attached to the back to carry my books and even rode it into buildings for class. One day someone stole it. Bummer, but lots good times were had on that bike and I know you'll enjoy your!! Congrats!
