When winter begins to chill my bones, I start to crave some comfort food to warm my soul! I love pasta, and eat it quite often. This recipe from Epicurious is easy and very hearty! After a belly warming meal, I love to finish off with a slice of chocolate cake! My grandmother used to bake cakes a few times a week, along with her pies! This year, I plan to make a few in her honour! Epicurious and Martha Stewart are in my book marks and I just recently added Jamie Oliver's site!

Ok, you had me at that chocolate cake! I used to swear by Laura Colwin's recipes for writers (out of print) but have started cooking everything in Terry Walter's new book (so yummy!). This post is inspiring me to revive my herb garden drowned in some early fall rains.
