NEED: Warmth and Cosiness!

I realized that I don't own any blankets! *gasp* really, I don't own one single blanket!
hmmp, Not sure why but I don't......
I have down duvets but no blankets.  I think that is strange, so I am on a quest to fix that.... I want something simple with stripes for my bed.  I like wool as long as it is soft and cosy, to keep me warm on snowy nights.
Here are a few that I have found online this weekend.
What are your thoughts, any suggestions?

DESIGNER CRUSH: Sheila Bridges!!

This is the image that got me hooked on Sheila Bridges! I love stripes and she does them right!! big, bold and layered with sweet little framed images.  AND that black desk, stunning!

Sheila Bridges
Originally from Philadelphia Pennsylvania
now residing in New York.

Her designs are striking, sophisticated, glamourous and have a touch of wit! They are also very cosy. Her use of colour is awesome! I wish I could be so bold. She makes it look so easy! "Just paint this wall apple green!" see below and you will understand! LOVE it!!
Even her little structures are well designed and oh so gorgeous!  Tennis Shed with a disco ball!
She is truly an amazing talent.
Enjoy!

DESIGN: Tradition bursting with colour!

This New York house is absolutely bursting with colour!  I complete swooned over the article when the magazine was delivered in my mail box! The deep jewel tones, saturated and just plain gorgeous.  The butler pantry is one of my favorite spaces, just look at those lacquered cabinets! *sigh* stunning is an understatement!!  The living room is another wonderful space, golds mixed with the blues and hits of reds mmmm just gorgeous!!.  Miles Redd just knows how to make a room sing!
Who is your favorite designer this week?
