DIY: Hanging Art Work

With all this snow, I have been completing little projects around my house. This weekend I have been hanging artwork throughout my home.  I am really excited how my house is coming together. Styling small area's and making each space more inviting.
I have plaster walls and have been putting off hanging artwork... thinking it would be difficult with the plaster chipping and not holding up.  But it was easy!  I watched this video on youtube and it was very helpful!

The ladder I got last summer from a neighbor!  I would like to paint it black along with that mirror frame.... the mirror I got from the first house I lived in when I moved to Chicago.  I was renting at the time and the owner said, "anything you find in the basement you can keep!" Well, I found a treasure trove down there!! {1950's Christmas ornaments, mirrors and old books! which I happily display backwards just for Kirsten!}
  • The portrait painting is by B. Haynes that I found at Anthropologie when they were having a prop sale.
  • The life drawing on the far left is by a friend, Leonardo Beltran.
  • The smaller "1910 nude" is by Danny Roberts, one of my favorite artists at the moment!  Go to his etsy shop to buy his amazing art!!
  • The small itty bitty paintings are by Mandy May Laschon: "Can't see the Forest for the trees" "The world is your oyster" and "She carried a torch for him" which I hope to frame in little frames this week... but in the mean time I taped them up. Her etsy shop.

I hope to add more art on the wall where the mirror is leaning to have a mini gallery.  Any DIY projects you have been working on during all this snow? Please share....
I will be posting a few more projects over the next few weeks since the snow keeps coming on down!!
