Afternoon Tea

My afternoon tea always makes me smile. My friend just returned from England with a tin of these wonderful gingerbread pieces from Grasmere! and yes, she is sharing!! mmmmm My favorite.
They truly are the best, and the recipe is secret.... which makes me sad, because I would love to make these wonderful little bites of heaven.

Mmmm, the thing about gingerbread is that there are so many types and it might be fun to just start making lots of different recipes--I bet you could find something similar if you looked hard enough. My favorite cookbook has 2 recipes for gingerbread, one softer and one harder--both delicious! And how often does one get to bake with treacle? Hope you have a wonderful weekend Callie!
