Here a few kitchens that inspire me!  The last one is the image from Holly Becker's book, Decorate with the quote over the stove.....crazy that I found it in pinterest without the quote on it.
My favorite kitchen is the dark blue walls and grey cabinets with the amazing floor tiles that I found on Christina's blog Down and Out Chic!!
Don't you love the darkness with the pops of green!!
