I was so excited to walk the grounds.... I just wish it was spring to see the horses running!
When I was a young girl, my dream was to be a horse jockey. Yep, I wanted to race horses. I was very small so I would have been a great career choice but when I turned 21 I grew 4 inches! Then another 1.5 inches at 26. My career would have been short lived. Even though I still only weighted about 105 at 5'8". I was a skinny rail. Anyway, I am off subject here...... I was so excited to see this beautiful race track. With so much history, you could feel it in the air. The grounds are magnificent.
What place would you love to visit tomorrow if you could??

ReplyDeleteIf I could go anywhere tomorrow I would actually go to your country. I visited the US for the first time this spring (I´m from Denmark). My husband, our two children and I, went down Highway 1 from SF to La Jolla and on the way I fell in love with the wonderful Moonstone Beach. I just sat there on the beach for hours looking at the waves and the surfers. So Moonstone Beach is the place I would go.
