BRILLIANT FINDS: Child

I adore Child Perfume. 
I used to wear perfume when I was younger, all the time. Then one day I stopped.  Don't know why, I just did...... Then about 10 years ago I whiffed this amazing perfume! It is my scent, I don't really stray to any other. Its soft, understated, wonderful jasmine notes are completely intoxicating. 
I am just at the end of a bottle and will need be purchase another very soon!
I prefer the roll on bottle. You can apply just in the right spots; just behind the ear, inside the wrist just below the thumb... you get the idea.  It is the perfect packaged truly fresh scent!

A beautifully design home! A wonderful blend of modern and ethnic furnishings! The scale of the pieces  are perfectly selected or designed.  I love the gorgeous light fixtures throughout... especially the dining room chandelier with glass globes that seem to float over the dining table.  The accessories are such a delight, just look at the beautifully detailed bell jars covering the sweet butterflies!

I love this house!!  Check out their other projects!! You will be drooling over them! trust me on this!!

Trust me on this, visit his site a few times!! The intro of each is gorgeously done! 

{I have seen 3 different versions! How many did you view?}

His spaces are truly amazing! Each room has an over sized pieces of art, mirror or furniture piece.  His playful use of scale is dramatic, stunning and down right perfect!

The drama, the imagination, the blending of amazing pieces, oh! and the use of colour... aqua walls with olive green leather can I just shout STUNNING!

BRILLIANT FINDS: Squeaky Clean

I have to say, since I have updated my bathroom and have all white tile (means you have to keep it clean or it doesn't look very good) my bathroom is pure heaven.  Long bubble baths in candle light, wine glass in hand. The room is very serene. I do have to say, I am not much of cleaner. In fact I hate cleaning! SO! I was very happy to stumble upon these wonderful cleaning product! They smell wonderful too!!

Daily Shower Spray

I spray after each shower and I don't need to scrub!

It really truly works

I use these tub-n-tile 

wipes for the sink! 

and it sparkles too!!

This product cleans my toilet to sparkle clean.

I also use the scrub in the tub when needed. (which is not often, but it' safe too!)

Method products are non toxic and work beautifully in your home. "Gentler than a thousand puppy licks"  They do not harm me or my bathroom!

The blog world is full of images of glamorous living spaces. How can we ever forget Nanette Lapore's glamorous town home in Manhattan's West Side! The luscious golden drapery, the amazing pop of colour and those Knoll, Warren Platner Chairs. oooh, and that dripping chandelier of luscious prettiness.

Fall down! go boom!! boom!

Ok, I had all intentions of working on my blog pages tonight and do a bit of house cleaning while the garden was watered with my new watering system. 
but
instead, I have spent the last 2 hours in the ER (quickest time in ER history!!) 


Long story short!  I was skate boarding... a Severin Von Ow-flip to bs tailslide bigspin flip out... 


ok, that's a lie!!
it sounds way cooler than what really happened.


Ok, open scene.... Callie walking down the street, talking on cell phone to AT&T representative.


Callie: My iphone is not getting emails, the 3G is not appearing on my phone.
AT&T rep: well let me see here, it looks like the tow (tower, cut short by callie screaming profanities)
  Callie: Oh F***k! F**k F**k hell F**k   callie picks up phone with now shattered face, call goes to 'Call fail' F**K!!!!!
Owner of house walked outs: are you ok? well, guess you shouldn't be texting and walking!
Callie: I wasn't texting!! (dumbass -that was in my head) I tripped over your flipping unsafe sidewalk
Owner: oh, you should take a photo of that
Callie: with what, my broken phone! (I wasn't to nice to this man, I kinda feel bad)


30 seconds goes by, with callie still screaming colourful word. phone rings, callie answers


AT&T rep: (nice guy btw!!)  Are you ok! what the hell happened?? are you all right?? seriously what happened.  
Callie: oh, crap I hurt! 
AT&T rep: what happened!! 
Callie: my phone it's beeping now, I think the 3G is fixed! but hell, I hurt really bad, oh and my phone I think I need a new one!
................


Callie then calls BFF Blanca: B, come F***ing get me, I can't walk!


Ok, 
 The sidewalks are all tweaked from the very cold winter and I fell big time. Shatter my iphone! ripped the leather on my sandals! and now my foot is black, purple and very puffy! 
and then there is my hand! same as foot! not to forget the large gash on my other foot!


Thank you B for taking me to the hospital! you are the best of best friends!! ever!!


By the way, the iphone still works.... just looks really ugly, and I have to be careful not to get glass in my fingers.  So, tomorrow 
NEW iphone!!
but now, big glass of wine and going to bed. I am going to be sore tomorrow!

BRILLIANT FINDS: gorgeous nails

This weekend I found the most amazing nail colours! I was going to a friend birthday party and I really wanted a pretty mani / pedi. SO! while out looking at hair products at Ulta, I noticed they have started to sell Butter nail lacquer! 
I of course had a handful of colours that I wanted to purchase but, I refrained from purchasing 9 new bottles of nail colour and only bought 2!  I loved the description that had for each colour, check their site for other pretty colours and hover over the name and the description will pop up!

Orange Crush, concentrated!

Hello, so sorry that I went MIA.  

I needed a break. A break from it all.  

I felt drained and needed to have time to just not think. I didn't even visit my favorite blogs. I actually didn't touch my computer for blogging all week.

                           I actually have been turning my brain to mush 

watching Doctor Who. That and gardening. Yes, you read correctly... watching Doctor Who.  So very sad that Rose Tyler is now in the alternate universe and the Doctor is without Rose! Just starting the 3rd season! yep, watched the entire 1st season on Saturday then onto 2nd season.  Much fun I have had, mushing the brain up!

anyway!

The break was much needed.  I have been working like crazy and I just needed some time.

But I am back. Love this orange, completely crushing on those orange chairs.

I will be  posting all week and start reading my favs tomorrow! Missed you all!!  I feel so behind, but enough of that! I will be up to speed very soon!
