The photography of Richard Powers is just gorgeous, here I have posted a few of my favorites from his site that are close up bit of amazing interiors. I love how he captures the light and gives the space a magical feel in the first image. The purples, grays and blacks are really lovely!
Then the snippet of those black chairs with the gorgeous yellow drapery fluttering in the breeze... *sigh* golden and lovely.

I love this shop!  Virginia Geiger has some amazing modern pieces that are really well priced!  Here are a few of my favorites, that first necklace is a must have for me!  The golden rings hanging on the velvet ribbon with a cluster of smokey quartz! just stunning! Her pieces are sweet, delicate and oh so pretty!! Just take a look at this ring! how pretty would it be to have 3 or 4 of these stacked on my finger!

It all started with this lovely bouquet of flowers! I love the purples, light and dark with the crisp white behind.

           Sorry the image of the flowers is so small, but you get the idea!

 Inspiration: Victoria Hagan

Then I found this wonderful interior by Victoria Hagan!  I love the dark crushed velvet on the sofa's with purple, violet and navy blended and reflected in the glass and stainless steel of the coffee table.  Then that beautiful pop of pink with the flowers and the bits of red!

I have begun my living room inspiration boards and searched for a few items that I need to do for my living room transformation.  Of course I always check out palette colours at Rachels blog! Lovely Clusters! Her mood boards are always inspirational.

When I am all done, I will post images for you to see!

But here are a few images of inspiration:  need to get shopping!

For the unexpected colour pop, like the pink and red.... I thought I would use this pretty blue: These throw pillows are reasonably priced on etsy!  $31.20 for a 24x24 cover!  Then throw in the pink and violets, and navy! and a bit of red.

I know I will need to get new area rugs for my house.... I will start with these navy area rugs from ikea.  I need to select a wall colour in a darker gray or I may just keep the gray I have which is a medium tone.

Since, I have a big dog I need an area rug that is durable and easy to clean (hose down!) and Ikea always has these wonderful graphic rugs that are easy to clean and look great for the year or two use that I get out of them. I will use the larger on in the living area and the runner in the hallway to the bedrooms and at the entry!

This week, I maybe taking a bit of time for myself.  AND needing to get a new computer! BUMMER! The screen is going all wacky where I can't see have of the screen.
 So, I do think it is time for new one.  Seriously, was not looking into buying a new computer anytime soon but I think I will need to look this week!

I am completely smitten with this space!  The neutral wall panels, the raw floor boards, the gorgeous portrait brazen with red and blue, gilded frame!
This space is just perfect!
I love going through old building and houses that are abandoned.... this space as that allure, that mystery.
I can image this being an old sitting room. A place to read a book, do a bit of needle work or a place to sneak a kiss over tea....

This bed hidden under the stairs is such a treat!  Love the cosy feel with the luscious bedding!  Just snug under the stairs!  Would love to have a secret hiding place like this for cuddling and reading.

Ok, I am dreading next week!
I am not a huge fan of valentine's day..... It never works out for me.  I have actually never received a valentine day gift or flowers from anyone.  Even thought I have been in 2 long term relationships, they never gave me anything.... ok, once SC gave me flowers from a grocery store purchased last minute because his friend made him buy them for me... so that doesn't count
They were not bought out of thought! 
I actually, would be happy with a simple bouquet of flowers (I am all the same flower type of girl... for example, all tulips or all daisies or all roses nothing over the top.)

but when I came across this lovely etsy shop, I did dream of receiving this little locket so dainty and pretty from someone, anyone on valentine's day!

 

She has many other sweet little love trinkets, go have a look!  seriously adorable and loveable!!

I love this living space! It's neutral fresh interior flooded with natural light. The furniture; cosy and simply modern juxtaposed with the classic architectural molding and gorgeous warm wood floor blanketed in that lovely area rug then the high ceiling studded with that wonderfully fun light fixture from ikea!
While reading Livingetc magazine last month, I drooled over the gorgeous interiors of Hanne Berzant's home in Copenhagen.  I love this space! How would you like to sit at that desk, blogging!
*sigh* I would love to gaze out the windows and be inspired!! or curl up on that chaise with a throw, a good book and a cup of tea.

Zoe and Morgan have the most amazing pieces!! I really want this "Love" necklace!! How brilliant is this secret love necklace! The word love inside a heart entwined, just Brilliantly designed!

They have many other really cool items, I suggest you high tail it over to their site and check them out! Skull rings, scarab rings, the isadora ring is very pretty too!! and they have a section for the man in your life!
